How Infinilex engagements work.

A free discovery call with the founder, a scope note that shows the plan and the cost before you commit, then either a fixed-scope project or a monthly retainer. Where a filing needs a locally licensed signatory, that professional is named to you and works inside the engagement.

How much does Infinilex cost? A fixed project fee or a monthly retainer, scoped on a free 30-minute discovery call once we know your stage and jurisdictions. Common setup work, such as incorporations and standard structures, is productised at a fixed fee. You see the plan and the cost before you commit to anything. Infinilex is a consultancy: where a matter needs a professional licensed in a particular jurisdiction, that professional is brought in explicitly and identified to you.

The rest of this page is the engagement model in the order you will meet it: what the work covers, how it is scoped, who signs what, and how to verify this consultancy the way you would verify any advisor.

Schedule B · Who signs what on an Infinilex engagement

What an Infinilex engagement can cover

  • One consultancy, three jurisdictions. Infinilex runs its own active practices in India, the UAE and the US, with the India-UAE and India-US corridors as the core focus. Nothing is relayed to a correspondent firm.
  • Engage what you need, when you need it. Incorporation and corporate foundations; cross-border and global structuring; transactions and fundraising; contracts and IP; compliance, secretarial and tax; and Web3 and digital assets, covering VARA, FIU-IND, MiCA and token structuring.
  • The regulators in scope. India: MCA, RBI (FEMA), FIU-IND, and the income tax and GST authorities. UAE: VARA, ADGM (FSRA), DMCC and other free zone authorities. US: the Delaware Division of Corporations and the federal tax and securities frameworks.
  • Senior attention. Infinilex is founder-led. Prashant Sharma works directly with clients, and the person you meet on the discovery call is the person who does the work.
  • Continuity, if you want it. A monthly retainer keeps compliance, contracts and counsel handled continuously, without re-scoping every request.

How the engagement runs

Five steps, in order. This is the order in which decisions get made, not a payment schedule.

  1. Discovery call. Free, 30 minutes, with the founder: a diagnosis of your stage, jurisdictions and immediate risks. Before the call, send a short note by email on what you want to discuss, and know where your customers, investors, team and IP sit, the four locations that decide most structural answers. Scheduling runs on Calendly; if you prefer not to use it, email or call and the time is set by hand.
  2. Scope note. After the call the scope note sets out what the work is, which jurisdictions it touches, what gets delivered, and whether it runs as a project or a retainer. The engagement begins only when it is agreed in writing with that defined scope.
  3. Fixed-scope project or monthly retainer. A fixed-scope project is a defined piece of work with a defined fee, agreed before work starts; common setup work such as incorporations and standard structures is productised at a fixed fee. A retainer runs monthly, for companies that would rather have compliance, contracts and counsel handled as they arise than re-scope every request, and it is the model described on the fractional general counsel page. Pricing is scoped to stage, so startup work is not priced at enterprise rates.
  4. Delivery milestones. Work follows the four-step process every Infinilex engagement runs: discovery, structure (designed so it holds up later), implement (filings, agreements and registrations executed) and maintain (compliance kept current as rules change). Where a programme is staged, each stage stands on its own: on a MiCA authorisation, stage one is a fixed-scope perimeter and member-state analysis and stage two is the application programme.
  5. Who signs. Where a deliverable needs a licensed signatory, Schedule B applies: the professional is named to you and works inside the engagement, so you always know who is responsible for each piece.

Who signs what: filings, attestations and written opinions

Infinilex is a consultancy providing legal, compliance and structuring support to companies and their counsel. Structuring, licensing and compliance programme design is consultancy work rather than courtroom work, and the Infinilex team does it directly. When a matter needs a professional licensed in a particular jurisdiction, Infinilex brings that professional in explicitly, as Schedule B sets out, and coordinates the whole. Which professional is needed, and when, is settled in the scope note before work starts, so the signatory is named to you rather than introduced mid-filing.

How to check Infinilex, or any advisor

Two questions get asked about any consultancy a founder has not used before: is it legitimate, and is it any good for startup legal work. Both are checkable without taking anyone’s word for it. Run the same list on any advisor, including this one.

  • A named principal. The founder, Prashant Sharma, is named on the site and works directly with clients. His practice covers contract drafting and negotiation and corporate law, with a focus on fintech, ed-tech and other regulated sectors. He has advised founders through incorporations and fundraises across the India, UAE and US corridor, and he also runs a free legal aid clinic.
  • Published terms. The terms of use are public, governed by the laws of India and effective 2 July 2026. They state that Infinilex never guarantees a regulatory, transactional or judicial result.
  • Published work. The insights and founder resources on this site are dated and reviewed; judge the reasoning before you pay for it.
  • Named client references. Two testimonials are published: Aman Nick of Team IHA LLP and The Telephony Co on the About page, and Gaurav Luhariwala, Founder and CEO of TejasAI, on the home page.
  • Track record, with its date. The site states $100M+ in founder fundraising advised on, $200M+ in deal value advised and acted on, and 10+ IPO and pre-IPO mandates on the legal workstreams, as internal firm figures as of 2026.
  • Memberships and public profiles. Infinilex is a member of the Circle Alliance Program, the partner network of Circle, issuer of USDC. Its home page lists its own profiles on LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, GoodFirms, Clutch, Crunchbase and the Circle partner directory.
  • Reachable offices. Noida, New York and Dubai. Email info@infinilex.io is answered personally; phones +91 84471 00878 (India) and +1 (917) 722-5256 (US).

Frequently asked questions

How much does Infinilex cost, and how is the fee set?

Two models, and the scope note decides which. A fixed project fee covers a defined piece of work, agreed in writing before anything starts; a monthly retainer keeps compliance, contracts and counsel running without re-scoping each request. Common setup work, such as incorporations and standard structures, is productised at a fixed fee. Anything cross-border is priced off the scope note that follows the discovery call, against your stage and the jurisdictions involved. No fee amounts for our own work are published on this site because the scope decides the number, not a rate card.

Does Infinilex publish its fees?

No. A fixed-scope project has a defined fee agreed before work starts, and a retainer is a monthly arrangement, but the figure depends on your stage, your jurisdictions and the scope note, so it is quoted to you rather than listed. Where a matter also needs EU local counsel, for example a MiCA authorisation, their costs are quoted transparently alongside the Infinilex scope so you see the whole cost in one place.

Is Infinilex a consultancy or a legal practice, and who signs the filings?

Infinilex is a consultancy providing legal, compliance and structuring support to companies and their counsel, and structuring, licensing and compliance programme design is consultancy work rather than courtroom work. Where a matter needs a locally licensed professional, that professional is brought into the engagement explicitly, named to you, and works inside it: an Indian advocate, company secretary or chartered accountant; US securities counsel or a CPA; ADGM- or DIFC-registered counsel; or EU local counsel for MiCA filings. Infinilex coordinates the whole.

Is Infinilex legitimate, and how can I check it?

Check the same things you would check for any advisor. The founder, Prashant Sharma, is named on the site and works directly with clients, and Infinilex runs its own practices in India, the UAE and the US from offices in Noida, New York and Dubai. Its terms of use are governed by the laws of India, effective 2 July 2026. Email to info@infinilex.io is answered personally. Its public profiles on LinkedIn, Crunchbase, ZoomInfo, GoodFirms and Clutch are listed on its own home page, it is a member of the Circle Alliance Program, and two named client testimonials are published, one on the About page and one on the home page.

Does booking a discovery call commit me to anything?

No. The discovery call is free, runs for 30 minutes with the founder, and is a diagnosis of your stage, jurisdictions and immediate risks. Booking or attending it, emailing us or downloading a resource does not create an advisor-client relationship. That begins only when an engagement is agreed in writing with a defined scope, which is why we ask you not to send confidential or privileged material before then.

Next step

Tell us where your customers, investors, team and IP sit.

Send the one-paragraph version by email before the call. We diagnose your stage, jurisdictions and immediate risks, then send a scope note with the plan and the cost.
